Three Point Oh is a portrayal of the sum of these parts, offering the digitally-fluent the opportunity to take their creativity to the next level.
Now in its third year at the TELUS World Ski & Snowboard Festival, 3PO emerges as the festival's freshest, most compelling addition to the ten day and night showcase of sports, music, and arts.
As a celebration of innovation, technology and culture in the arts, the ThreePointOh (3PO) Multimedia Showcase invites artists to take creativity to the cusp by fusing and integrating various digital art elements together from film to photo, 2D animation to 3D animation and beyond.
Tasking artists to meld a collection of their favoured artistic mediums into funny, dramatic or socially relevant shorts, from 3-5 minutes in length, is a challenge that will award the Best of Show piece a healthy $3500 in CASH.
A panel of industry experts will select six to ten finalists to be screened in Whistler, BC during a Gala evening on Sunday April 17th, 2011.
One winner, Best of Show, will be chosen by an esteemed panel of judges, to reap the rewards, monetary, bragging rights and beyond, that this exposure will result in.
